Corinthians will undergo tests to assess Renato Augusto's injury and the midfielder could be out for up to three months.
Midfielder Renato Augusto will undergo imaging tests this Saturday (8), when the Corinthians squad returns after the victory over Liverpool, from Uruguay, in the Libertadores debut. Corinthians' medical department is being cautious and in no rush to carry out a new assessment of the knee problem suffered by the number 8 at the start of the match in Montevideo. The initial tests, carried out in the dressing room at the Centenário stadium, were inconclusive, but ruled out a ligament rupture, with a recovery time varying between six and eight months - which is why Renato will miss the season.
