According to a report, Santos had a 427% increase in labor costs
A report presented by the Santos Fiscal Council and approved by the club's Deliberative Council in a meeting held last Wednesday night (05), gave a detailed overview of Peixe's finances throughout 2022. Of all the topics analyzed, it calls the pay attention to the increase in the amount spent on subscriptions between 2021 and 2022. According to the report, the club invested more than R$11 million in signing players in 2021, the first under the management by Andrés Rueda. In 2022, the amount spent was approximately R$63 million, which represents an increase of 427.96%, states the document. The report does not specify whether this spending was only for men's professional football or whether the hiring of players from youth teams and women's football is also in question.
