Palmeiras has three South American champions for the under-17 team.
Palmeiras had three representatives in the South American under-17 title won by the Brazilian team last Sunday night (23). Goalkeeper César, defender Vitor Reis and striker Riquelme Fillipi were with Amarelinha in the 3-2 victory over Argentina and in the cup in the draw between Ecuador and Venezuela. > See Brasileirão-2023 table and classification by clicking here The competition trophy was won by Brazilian captain Vitor Reis in the South American Championship. The defender was only left out of the team in the last game of the first phase, when the coach sent an alternative team to the field. Riquelme Fillipi was instrumental in the title, scoring one of the winning goals against Argentina. The striker scored two goals and provided two assists in the competition. Cesar also had his chance, starting in the victory over Uruguay and impressing in the initial stages.
