How to use Edge's Game Assistant (Photo: Wongsakorn Napaeng/iStock) Game Assistant is available on Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge Beta 132. You can access it from the game bar (Win+G). The user can pin the feature to the top of the game and consult a guide or watch a video while playing.

Game Bar allows gamers to use widgets like Xbox Social to communicate with friends, track game progress, save screenshots and clips, adjust audio settings, and monitor system performance.

It is important to pay attention to the following:

Make sure Windows 11 and Game Bar are up to date; Game support requires a Microsoft Edge Beta or Preview channel. If you are running Windows Insider downloads on your computer or are signed in to Edge Preview, you already have Edge Preview and can proceed to step 3. Otherwise: Create a Microsoft Edge Insider Beta channel (you can also use the Dev channel to the latest updates, but performance may be a bit unstable); Set Edge Beta as your default browser (Go to Windows Settings > Applications > Launch Applications, search for Edge and click Edge Beta at the top of the page > Set as default); To enable Game Help (preview) and create the Game Bar widget, go to Settings & More in Edge (“…”) > Settings, search for Game Help in the search bar, and find the Game Help (Extension) option of Page at the top of the configuration)) and select Create widget; If you've never used Edge Beta/Preview, go to Settings and more in Edge (“…”) > Close Microsoft Edge and reopen the browser. You will need to repeat this step several times until the Game Help option appears. Now you can use Game Assist (preview) with Win+G.  Also read:
