Botafogo had a poor performance, but managed to win the first game of the Taça Rio final. Luís Castro's team started at the bottom of the scoreboard, but improved in the second half and managed to score two goals at the end of the game to emerge victorious in Raulino de Oliveira, at Volta Redonda. Audax tried to play quickly and set up dangerous opponents throughout the game. We thank Lucas Perri for the brilliant defense in Volta Redonda and Tiquinho Soares for the chance to score the goal in the black and white victory.
