Zeca reveals his resignation, but reinforces his love for Vitória

Vitória announced the termination of the contract with full-back Zeka, captain of its team. The 30-year-old defender has been at the Bahian club since 2023 and was a decisive player in the campaign to reach and win the Series B title last season. In 2024, Zeca also helped Vitória win the Bahia title, which had not been returned to Baradão since 2017. The two games in which the cup was lifted also saw the Championship Defender of the Year.
