Volleyball: Check out the teams for the 2024 Olympics in Paris

One of the most important is volleyball, and Brazil confirmed its place in both the men's and women's categories. In women's volleyball, the teams already classified are: Brazil; Peru; America; Poland; Dominican Republic; Serbia and France are the host countries. For men, the following were approved: Brazil; Germany; Canada; America; Japan; Poland and France, again as host countries. Just like in the women's category, the remaining places will be defined by the ranking, after the group of countries in 2024. Is it worth mentioning that in each category there are 12 games in the Olympic Games category held in Paris 2024? In Group B, Brazil had to travel to Japan. After the first games, the Brazilians lost to Turkey 3-0. As a result, they reached the final stage where they needed to beat the visitors, who had a full house. The result was a comfortable 3-2 victory, with a split of 21/25, 25/22, 25/27, 25/15 and 15/10. Men's categories At home, Brazil is joined by Germany, Cuba, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Iran and Qatar. Therefore, they needed to be in the top two to qualify. After losing to Germany, the Brazilians reached the final stage and competed against Italy, in the Old World. With a lot of emotion, the Brazilian won the first set, but took the upset. On Thursday, they won 25 to 17. Thus, in the Tiebreak, the victory came 15 to 11, with a lot of emotion. Volleyball at the Olympics: what is it like? In the first round, teams are divided into two groups, according to the FIVB World Ranking. The host nation and defending champions are the stolen teams. Therefore, there are five games for each team in the first round, with the best four in each group advancing. From the second round onwards it is time for the knockouts, with quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals all decided. The losers of the semifinals compete for third place, which is worth bronze. In the last edition, France won gold in men's and the United States in women's. The Brazilian women took the silver, while the men lost the bronze medal.
