The development of policies that define the rights and responsibilities of this sector is seen as a great opportunity for national and social development, providing jobs, contributing to economic growth and helping to prevent problems caused by high levels of corruption.

What are the main benefits of controlling the Brazilian product? One of the main reasons for regulating sexual activity is the ability to create jobs. Legalization and regulation can open doors to a variety of career opportunities, from roles at casinos and gambling sites to jobs in support industries such as security, asset management, administrative services and customer support.

In this context, in a survey carried out by the company ENV Media with Brazilian investors, 76% of respondents believe that the iGaming industry can boost the Brazilian economy and provide job opportunities:

In addition to creating jobs, gambling regulation can bring significant economic benefits. By legalizing it, the government will be able to collect taxes that were not previously collected, thus increasing public spending. These resources can be directed to critical areas such as health, education and infrastructure. Still according to the same survey carried out by ENV Media, an overwhelming majority of 87% of respondents consider the registration, licensing and taxation of companies to be important:

On this topic, government senators proposed around R$10 billion per year, in addition to R$3 to 4 billion every five years for licensing fees. This represents about $2.2 billion in annual tax revenue.

In countries where gambling is legal, tourism growth is also evident, as casinos and resorts attract national and foreign visitors, generating even more revenue for the local economy.

They also see the law as an important mechanism to prevent forced sex trafficking. With clear rules and regulations in place, it is possible to implement effective gambling control measures, such as betting limits, self-regulation programs and awareness campaigns about the dangers of excessive gambling.

Not only will this help reduce the stigma associated with the industry, but it will also help combat problem gambling by providing support to those in need in a safe and secure way.

Furthermore, with the regularization of this market, services and activities related to online casinos, such as money, cash, withdrawals and even simple bets, can be trusted, precisely because you will know that they are protected by law.

In this context, data from 7JP, an online casino that recently carried out a survey focused on payment behavior, showed that 74% of Brazilians consider security to be the most important factor when choosing the method, followed by speed (42%) and measurement/practicality. (40%).

This shows how important it is to have policies that encompass all issues involving this sector, so that all participants can feel in a safe environment.

It is a fact that regulating gambling in the country is a strategy that can bring many economic and social benefits. Through job creation, income growth and protection of players, the legalization of this sector could significantly improve the country's development, proving to be a great benefit for Brazilians.
