To this end, organizations that appear on the quality of performance management and transparency are evaluated based on the selection of techniques and objectives from five main themes: Reasons and Strategies, Reasons and Actions, Representation and Responsibility, Leadership and 'Planning, Budgeting and Communication and Responsibility.
The financial development of non-governmental organizations, for example, is a criterion for evaluating the organizations that will be selected for the list of 100 non-governmental organizations in Brazil. According to data released by the awards, 98% of the organizations presented had a fundraising program or button and employed at least one employee dedicated exclusively to fundraising. In addition to having a dedicated employee for this purpose, for example, Casa Arte Vida has a donation button on its website and a “how to help” page, where the public can find ways to contribute to the organization.
Award categories The Best NGO Award is divided into several categories. The main category is a good NGO, which offers 100 prominent organizations as participants. The Best Non-Profit Organizations category awards up to 10 small organizations – that is, those with annual revenues of up to US$500,000.
