The goal immediately places Leão in 8th place in the Brazilian Championship and the striker is the closest to entering the list in history: one of the top five scorers for team A this year, despite being Vojvoda's coach. Considering all championship competitions, he has scored 38 goals in 151 games for the club since 2021, when he was hired after leaving Vasco. Yago is in his second spell at the club, having been sold in the middle of last year to Japanese team Shimizu S-Pulse, who loaned him this season.
