Júnior Caiçara's opportunity to play his first match for his favorite club will take place this Sunday (27), at 4pm (Brasília time), at the inauguration of Arena MRV. PLAYING CAREER Born in Santos, the full-back is a big fan of Alvinegro Praiano. Despite his nickname linked to the place where he lived, Júnior has no previous experience at Santos. In the municipality, he only competed in the youth categories of Portuguesa Santista. As a professional, he spent time in Santo André, CSA and América-SP in Brazil, but left the country in 2010 and spent a large part of his career in Europe. Then he went to Portuguese football, where he played for Gil Vicente. The full-back then played for Ludogorets, from Bulgaria; Schalke 04, from Germany; and finally stayed in Istanbul Basaksehir for six years. Since leaving the Turkish club, in February 2023, the athlete has not played professional matches.
