And one of the names that has caught the attention of some Serie A clubs is midfielder Rodrigo Zalazar, 23 years old, from Schalke 04, in Germany. Vasco and São Paulo have already expressed interest in the player, but Santos is now trying to sign him. Despite being Uruguayan, Zalazar began his professional career in Spain, playing for Málaga. In 2019 he was traded to Eintracht Frankfurt, beginning his career in German football. Young and with limited space, he ended up loaned to Korona Kielce, in Poland, and then to Saint Petersburg. Pauli, in Germany, where he began to gain fame in the 2020/2021 season, playing in the second division. The Uruguayan had the third highest number of successful crosses in the tournament, averaging 2.65 passes per full game – 90 minutes – while using 33.9% of the space.
