I think that the field referee's support team often gets more things right than they get wrong. We have a long way to go to reach the maturity that other leagues around the world have achieved, especially in other sports. And because there is a long way to go, a warning is given to everyone involved in football: we cannot fall into the trap of easy solutions, such as thinking that the introduction of referees is the salvation or the only solution to this problem so far. Especially because, while we talk about referees who are responsible for the vast majority of our football, we have a very high percentage of judges who dedicate their time full-time to this role.
